Brynn did lesson 32 and began learning about Mozart. She did an excellent job of telling us some major points of Mozart`s life. As the weeks unfold – we`ll learn more. She now has a good understanding of whole notes (4 beats) , half notes (2 beats) and quarter notes (one beat). `Dottted half notes” are the next thing : the dot after the note adds 1/2 the value of the note so a dotted half note gets 3 beats. Great work Brynn.
Callie worked so hard and so very well. She completed lesson 25, played Hot Cross Buns and is very confident with different note values. I love listening to you counting! (Although sometimes her friends ask her to count more quietly Image may be NSFW.

Max zoomed ahead and did will start level 2 next class and learn about Mozart. He is really good at the game of helping the frog cross the pond. Excellent work Max!
Amelia is working on lesson 71 and is doing very well but needs to review note names : A common problem for all piano students is to tend to play “by finger number” rather than by knowing what note you are playing.
